About Us
Founded in 1942, Ferntree Gully Fire Brigade is a part of Victoria’s Country Fire Authority, a network of over 1,200 fire brigades designated to protect life and property across the state. Our members are fully volunteer and are constantly on call, providing highly trained emergency response at a nationally recognised standard.

Ferntree Gully Pumper is a CFA Medium Pumper, carrying 2500L of water. This appliance is designed for response to urban incidents with its large pumping capacity and variety of equipment.
Tanker 1

Ferntree Gully Tanker 1 is a CFA Heavy Tanker, carrying 4000L of water. This appliance is designed for response to bush fires with its large water tank, and 4WD capability.
Tanker 2
2024 Isuzu NPS
Ferntree Gully Tanker 2 is a CFA Light Tanker, carrying 2000L of water. This appliance is designed for response to bush fires with its 4WD capability and smaller vehicle profile.
Big Fill
2018 Ford Ranger
Ferntree Gully Big Fill is a specialist appliance, fitted with a pump and designed to act as a water supply at large incidents. This vehicle also functions as a support unit for local callouts.
